Ora has over a decade of experience building innovative programs in the fields of mental health and trauma throughout Israel, the US, and Canada. Through her extensive work creating sexual abuse prevention and treatment programs, advancing mental health rehabilitation services, and conducting social work research in a pediatric hospital, Ora – who herself lives with chronic pain – recognized the vital need to apply trauma-informed approaches to the field of chronic pain and medical care. In addition to her professional expertise and training in group facilitation, Ora has also conducted academic research and published articles on the psychosocial aspects of health and disability.
